[i41] Multiplay Winter LAN

There will be another thread soon regarding fund raising but the THN kitty is not open to this for 2 reasons.
1. There aren't the funds in any way shape or form for this.
2. The paypal account that I control to pay for THN services can only as agreed between Haven and myself be used for exactly that to avoid any confusion/conflict.
That is not to say this is a bad idea, the best way to do this would be to create a paypal account for the purpose of paying for i-series stuff. If people would like and we can work it out I'm happy to create an i-series paypal account. For this to work however we have the issue that we have season ticket holders AND people that have already separately paid for this event, not really sure what options we have on this.
We need a final word from mpuk as to how this will work before we make a decision.

@ trax - Float = money going in before going out. Thus "there arent enough funds", means "shutup failtrax" 
e.g. something like: THN kitty (or someones bank account or whatnot ) gets money put into it by those who can donate the funds. We buy tickets out through that. People who want those tickets pay THN/someones bank account. After everyones paid, THN/bank account refunds the original donatory people.
@huung - I dont think its a case of people whove already paid needing to rebook. e.g. would do a group booking of 11 people, as we've already got 11 individual payments.

@bob - Fair enough on setting up a separate account for this, even though paypals charges are a bit extortionate the last time I looked!

I'm willing to organise and help initially fund the group booking for 11 (or 12, if kalleth hasnt paid yet), and divvy that out to people over the next few weeks. That way we can put in the request for the clanbox now and hopefully have another fun lan. And then people can pay me back in exchange for a ticket / when they have the funds (must be before the event - otherwise no ticket for thee ). You can pay EAS yourselves
Are people happy for me to do this?
If so, can you PM me your booking ref so that we can accrue them all together and put in the support ticket to multiplay.
If anyone has any particular objections, can you state so here please

I guess that since I don't play that large a range of games, at things like the iseries events, the social / relaxing aspects are particularly important to me compared to the gaming aspects. Not sure how well nerf gun fights would go down if we did that on B-1!

There's no reason why you can't be social and relax with other people around too - alot of people go to these things to play one game and one game only over the whole weekend, so you won't be excluded in any way shape or form for doing so

Having said that I would say I loved the box and would be a little gutted if we weren't in one again. I particularly enjoyed the balcony + inflatable chairs.

I'm certainly not dissing the box "experience", nor am I saying that we should not be trying to get one - I'm just saying that we need to make sure we can fill all the seats with people we know/trust, and if not, that everyone else in the box (THN or no) will be ok with contributing towards the cost of any vacant seats.
Becuase there has been less of a rush for the tickets we don't need to rush as much so we probably have until around the end of September to get this sorted.

true. EB runs until 4th october too, so the cost of the tickets for people isnt going to imminently go up either.
