Same as Vel. I won't be one of 2 or 3 people who scuppers a box by not paying, but at the same time I'd rather not be in a box. THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX.
EDIT: Just to be super super clear on this; if we have some tally system like last time, where people's votes are collected into merely 'yes' and 'no' - I'd like my vote to count in the no pile.
Last time the 'maybe' votes were counted as 'yes'es; I can most definitely confirm I'm far more on the 'no' side of the spectrum.

If i recall from the lst time we went over this, there are only 6 detractors, and 4 strongly dissagrees, that makes 22 to 10 = the fors have it?

The "Yes -- but only if" answer (in what I was trying to aim for in wording it) would mean the same thing as "NO -- but I'll go in a box if that's what the vast majority want."
Only direct Yes will be counted as a yes, that middle option is purely for "I'll do it if everyone else is going to". Think alternative vote,

Exactly. You can't count 'everything but no' into one, as the "Yes -- but only if" applies to the majority, not against the pure 'no' votes.
The 14 vs 7 is also inaccurate, as this puts the 'only if' lot in with the 'no' people. Atm it's technically 14 vs 3 - but as Spicy said, good luck booking a box missing 3 people.
Two of the three people I want to be sat near are against the box, the other is in the 'only if' pile. For me, personally, if they're not going in a box, chances are I won't either.

My feeling is that we have gone through this already. For me if there's any genuine nos then I'm out as well. We have yes votes from those that have never done non clan box. I love the box. But I go for the social aspect of seeing you people (god knows why).
My feeling is for this event where we are in a new venue that it's worthwhile to be in the main hall to completely experience the EVENT.
For a first shot in a new venue I think being out of a box may well be a good thing. I think I side with huung that if johnny blokey and the trollmaster himself are out then I am as well.
