Waiting to get paid next friday before purchase. This is going to be a real expensive month for me so need to balance the money right.

Also poking Tempscire to get him to go.

It won't be 44. If we go over 22 the target would then be 33. Unless, of course, we can get a crazy custom sized box somewhere...

That entirely depends on whether you want to be there as long as possible. I'd always say yes, with the exception of the first LAN on the new provider demon where they had all sorts of issues, the internet has always been there and good to go on the Thursday so I'd say it is well worth the extra monies.

even with at i40 when they had issues with the internet (as far as I Recall it was something at the exchange that went splodey boom),it wasnt the end of the world. Could still do offline games (yeah, minimal i know), and get set up, order food (took a while, as 1500 hungry people with no games to play = long food queue).

for £15 you get to get in there early with everyone else, get other people to help carry your stuff up, get a tent space which isnt miles away, get in early, and stay up until sillytimes! also means that you can factor in journey time as part of thursday afternoon. not sure where abouts you come from in the uk, but that might affect how early youd be able to get there on the friday.

in short: yes, go for EAS :p
