Multiplay i40 Gaming LAN - Clanbox?

Okay, I admit that I'm now musing on i40.

Without scanning back through all the confusion of posts, what's the deal so far?

Its the august bank holiday weekend. so around the 26th to 30th August as far as I can guess. I imagine if you google a bit, then you'll get more accurate dates. and then give a day around to recover / prepare!

The deal is as follows: August Bank Holiday weekend, i.e. 27th-30th August (26th if we go EAS).

I've made this early post as I think it would be fun if we can get a "Clanbox" - this is a self-contained room holding a maximum of 22 people, and it might be more preferable for people were we to be in this box.

I have that time booked off already which is cool so am definitely going whatever.

Remember that we have various little groups of people we know from LANs that may well be up for joining us if we are unable to get a group of 20 from THN alone.

I don't think I'm up for doing the whole PC in the suitcase again this year and I doubt I'll have a car so I might be missing this one. Shame, Clanbox sounds awesome!

Whats the point of saying "click here to book your seat now" and then not having the bookings open

Out of interest (as I've not been to anything like this before) - do you just book now, and then pick your seat at a later date? e.g. you dont have to decide where abouts to sit when you book?

They have a seat picker application where we choose our seats.

I wouldn't expect to be able to properly by the tickets till they get finished with packing up the current LAN and get back to their offices later in the week

I have made a thread on the Multiplay forums asking if there are people out there that may want to take up the spare spaces it's looking like we're going to have for our clanbox.

Obviously nothing is set in stone yet and if we can get others that we already know then fine but I'd like to get in as early as possible with the clanbox.

one box = 22 spaces, we have 16 paid now, 1 more I know paying tonight, plus Trax at the end of the month to make it up to 18, I'm also going to try contacting SgtFury (sent him a PM to see if he gets an email) as I don't think we've heard from him for a while and he came to the last big event.

Other than that, I'm unaware of anyone else that is going to come to this event with us so thought I'd start seeing if we can get some interested people

just been chatting with him on MSN about that - it also depends on how quickly we find people to fill said spaces

If there is anyone here that is defo getting a ticket and coming to the event but just doesnt have the money right now for it, I'm happy to sponsor said person. This ofc only being when we have everyone we need for the clanbox.
