Then when it breaks, you'll have to come whining onto here again ;-) :p

Tis good to take interest in whats actually in your computer, and why. It'll help when something breaks and you'll have some idea as to what each bit is, and how to find a compatible replacement.

I know-ish whats going in there.

E7500

MSMBP35-DIA

Heat 775 AK

3 1 gig sticks of RAM

And the PSU.

Its going to be water cooled, and have 2.9 GHz on each Core.

(By the way, im paying Trade Prices for this <3)

couple of points, the Q8400 is not much more, will double the amount of cores you have, but drop the speed to only 2.66GHz (4x2.66 over 2x2.93) which will give a more niticeable performance increase in newer games,
that board supports dual channel memory so 2 or 4X1GB will give better performance than 3x1GB in most cases.
and finally why watercooling, it's an absolute pain in the arse to move anywhere as you generally have to drain the system to prevent it leaking when moving it, a £25-30 air cooler will be easier to move and will cool the CPU with no issues (hell the intel one that comes in the box is pretty awesome these days)
oh also nothing new on the graphics front?

Its about the money, i barely managed to borrow the money for what this is costing (about £300) Since i owe my parents £250 already.

And watercooling was the best one from their supplier.

New graphics card? Nah, mines alright for a bit longer, right?

*also makes unconvinced noise*

that GFX card is three generations old and is also in the low-mid range too - you won't be playing many new games on that at a particularly fast rate

that said. my 8800gt 512 is happy running tf2 / l4d at 1920*1200, so depending on how good / crap your monitor is (I don't think you said what res it was at) you might be able to get away with it for a while.

Believe it or not, not everyone has lots of money to spend on things. (£820 for a phone contract you CANT get out of, when you can get one that's like £20 a month that you CAN get out of sound familiar?). I have £200 a month. Either buy it for me, or don't insult what i CAN afford or just don't make a comment.
