PR Clan matching

it's a case of if you want to play kirb.

This is a three pronged attack
a) get people interested in playing PR again
b) try out 0.6
c) see who would be interested in a clan, and if it's worht our while!


Just to clarify this, there is nothing arrange with anyone else / other clans it'll be THN going to rape on a server somewhere

Cant we wait for a couple of days until the final 0.6 comes out? Because I can't play the BETA, as my installation buggered something up It would make sense methinks.

EDIT: Ignore me, I missed the fact that it actually is released. Now, excuse me while I change my pants and trousers...

EDIT 2: Definitely count me in. I'll go as SL if we are lacking in one, but i'm completely unfamiliar with commander interface.

Righty, Kirb's be downloading the client, but count me in i've been away from the 'Clan' Scene for a gawdawful long time, i just wants an organised fighting rabble

OK, so just a small update to the chain of events.

Seeing as we arn't going to have our own server up and running, my suggestion is we go find some emtpy server somewhere else to play with!

PR currently seems to have issues with the mac however, i'm getting this damn CTD issue when you get to join game, which is damn'd annoying. However if the worse come to the worse, I will have to play on my fiancee's machine, which will just have to suffice

Next stop, reinstall BF2!

I had an issue with CTDs in PR. Turns out I had loaded BF2, and was just trying to load PR maps WHOPPS! Sure you're not doing as stupid?

im having trouble with loading up the game!!! ive downloaded it and installed it but there is no shortcut for me to use????

If you load up BF2 there is a tab in there called "community" I believe. In there should be a list of installed mods and PR wil be one of them. Activate it.

Don't do that. It'll CTD when you go to join a server.

Instead, make a copy of your BF2 shortcut. Then, in the Target Line, add the following onto the end:

+modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +fullscreen 1

NOTE: INCLUDE the space before the beginning of the text.

After much consideration, I might be interested but I'm perpetually short on time. Count me as a possible. I'm just getting back into PR for 0.6.

my mate has a problem with pr.

1st: his Pr download is corrupt. He gets a message: corrupt file: system files corrupt when he trys to download it. he retry and it don't work. so he ignored the problem and it installed. he loaded up pr and try to get on a server and it CTD after 2%.

Yeah, his download file is hosed. If he's still stuck later I can upload the PR0.6 installer to Promethius overnight.
