As the site that DocBot said he was going to use to generate the random numbers (here) has certain sided die. It has 1000, the next lowest being 100. So it's just plain old easier.

The core problem is verification of the results. If we use the IronyGames dice rolling server then we can have the results mailed to a public email account and we can have verification that the results are as we say they are. It is conceivable, otherwise, that the Admins could be accused of rigging the raffle, especially as we're both buying tickets and running the raffle.
Imagine if I win first prize and DocBot wins second? Without some sort of verifiable result, I think we'd both feel rather uncomfortable because it could look like we cheated.
Hence the use of an external system, not just something we made up. And as we're using an external system, we're bound by its rules and it offers specific sets of dice (IIRC). So, 930/1000 is more likely to avoid a re-roll than 62/100.
All make sense?

you really weren't paying attention on monday were you Taffy. you ask this about 5 times and were told £40 on each occasion. Well you've got £40 so you have covered your loses and then some.
