Riddle Me This

Ahey, :)

Decky, interesting try, but no. This defendant was, in fact, guilty of this particular crime, and the jury verdict was, in fact, valid. Despite these facts, the judge refused to sentence him.

Big D wins. :)

You turn.

Cheers,
J.

Congrats D, I'm sure you're riddle will be suitably interesting and vague. :p

Though while we are on the subject of these siamese twins, you would have expected that the innocent twin would have been able to prevent these heinous crimes, and since he didn't, he could be seen to be "aiding and abbetting," in which case he's not actually innocent, so the judge could send em both to prison with a clear conscience. :) I love looking into things more than what they should be looked into :D.

I've got nothing, so how about a simple classic:

A man trips into a mine shaft and falls 300 feet straight down, yet is completely unharmed. Why?

The mine shaft has flooded, thus he fell into an underground 'lake'.

Or, He's not finished falling yet, it's a bottomless pit.

I agree with trax's second answer. It aint the falling that hurts you, its the stopping :p

That's only true up to a point. At terminal velocity, the human lung can't aspirate, so in a truly bottomless bit, you would suffocate.

Obviously not after 300 feet, though. :)

Cheers,
J.

Ah. fair enough. Whichever way, splatting into the ground would probably be significantly more painful that not quite breathing .... kinda... maybe? :p

And yeah, Trax mostly got it. The shaft is 350 feet deep.

Not 351? :p

I have two arms, but no fingers.
I have two feet, but cannot run.
I can carry well, but I have found I carry best with my feet OFF the ground.

What am I?

What am I?

I have short fingers, I have legs and certainly can't run
Is it bob.

Perhaps bob with a wheelbarrow

I'm pretty sure that was what he was going for however I've always considered the wheel to count as a foot. Never liked this one much.

A wheel is not a foot! But I can see where you're coming from :p
I like T-Bone's answer of a helicopter tbh, thought that was quite clever

Alrighty then...

A man is found lying dead, face down in the middle of the desert.
He is wearing a backpack.
His ribs are crushed.
The post mortem shows that he died suddenly, 2 months ago.
Yet no one has crossed the dessert for 3 months.
What happened?
