[strike]I'd still bet space is the biggest issue, afteral, im a nice guy...;)[/strike]

Got my pc's idle (24 hr+) temp down (from 49) to 35c, makes me want to never put the sides back on.

Right... that means you're not getting enough airflow into it :p if it works better with no side panels!

Heh indeed, so, not threadworthy, but off topic, oh noes what do i do now!

The problem is my 2 hdd, i used to have 3 blocking airflow, they are gone now, but i have them at the top with the PSU(blocking up that airflow), though a new problem has emerged, the vibration from one of the hdd is being amplified through the pc case, giving my case almost, a heartbeat effect. Im thinking of looking into buying some bays to put the hdd in the front, but they then wouldnt have direct(over their surfaces) air flow, and as such wouldnt get cooled at all.

Slippery slope asking for (anything) lifts lol, ask enough ppl and they could get annoyed, as it is with many things, still, i've made my needs public, and my distance capabilities. Not really much more i can do, even if i learned to drive, its a bit silly, as i dont need to drive anywhere else.

Oh no, the discount was why it was done, but its a heavy discount of fun if you can't get there.
Afaik Huung and Vel will be rocking out in Watford and I'll be just a stones throw away at London Colney.

Maybe i should learn to drive, can get access to a car no probs. I expect it takes a while from scratch though.

I had about 20 hours of driving lessons :) you do your theory test and then as soon as you do that you can book your driving test for the morning after.

Driving isn't that difficult though! :)

The theory isn't so much learning it for an exam, it's 'health and safety' Hazard perception (what looks like it might be a problem and dealing with it in advance) and questions from the highway code like what is the stopping distance, legal limit on tyre tread and things like that..

you can book your driving test for the morning after.

hmmm. Where i lived there was always a month wait or so to book it!

And driving theory is just a common sense test really.

"lorry is indicating left, but when coming up to the junction he starts moving to the right, is he

a) really stupid and turning the other way

or

b) Having to give himself a wider turning circle BECAUSE HES A FECKING LORRY"

I got the driving theory test CDs, and worked through those the nights before my theory test. Out of the 35 odd questions they asked you, I reckon 25 of them I'd seen about an hour or so beforehand from the CD.

Whichever way: I've managed to get hols off for iLite,.... but its a bit of a faff as I have to be on call if necessary.

lol'd. If lan becomes too common it looses its special touch. Or more specifically I worry the pills won't work and trax will remember the special touch
