We've got so many people scheduled to turn up for this, I wonder whether it's worth us passwording the server for the evening so that we can all get on?

Probably not a bad idea. And if we need a few extra players, we can just drop the password into the BCG group chat. That will surely bring in a few people, and they'd be preferable to randoms. (And in rare cases, frighteningly proficient with the syringegun

Well, rather than leaving my router turned on all the time (as is usual practise with me and these type of things), my router was plugged into the same surge protected extension lead as my PC (which I turn off at the wall to save power - go ecoDiablo!). I think I just turned it off in one of those once-in-a-lifetime moments where it was writing a bit to memory, or something, and it just bricked itself. It still reports that it's connected to my PC, and the wireless LED won't light up, and no amount of reset (complete or otherwise) seem to fix it.
On a bit of a side note, I am using the Linksys Access-Point (rather than a full router), which only supports the micro versions of the DD-WRT firmware, and that might have something to do with it. Though maybe not. Who knows.
In fact, I see there's a BCG event scheduled for tomorrow as well, so there will certainly be folks around.
