hahahaha this is very true. although if a musician went for the ultimate hair styles as styled by the irish rugby team the combo of the afro and the mullet. the mighty mafro. then they really could be a terrible musician and still do very well.

however on the case of jimi hendrix he had awesome hair and is also an awesome guitarist. can only think of a few that come near him.

Yes, the mighty mafro rules above all and if you were a really bad musician you could always hide inside it... But then, I come back to my earlier point that you aren't always looking at them when you listen to their song. But then again, you could always take a picture of them everywhere you went.

Personaly, I think jimi is a brilliant all round act, showcasing great vocal ability and awesome guitar solos. Overall, I'm hard pressed to find someone who matches his sheer ability. I have given in to the power of bob.
