Im going with Bob on this one now, looks like its the only possible option left :p

Pull out the umbrella and let that bad boy slow amy down.

Umbrella seems like the only option

That's a ridiculous idea. Are you serious?

I think the problem stems from the still pictures not showing if Amy has actually slowed down.
Though it would be unreasonable to get The Martin to make animated images :p

keys yes, but the notepad may still come in useful... though admittedly, we should land in their vicinity, presuming many things about the physics of this abyss....

I'm assuming that there is an end and figured keys and notepad are unlikely to get all that damaged by the fall. Otherwise I'd have gone for the whole bag but the phone may be needed later.

Depending on how deep the abyss stretches (and I guess it's quite a lot) mobile phone might not work once Amy makes landfall. Then again I'd say throw out everything you have and only keep the cell. Would Amy be able to both telephone AND cling onto the umbrella at once?

(I am already making these in Flash, so I'm like two steps away from animating it. Thing is, they take forever to draw as it is. Which is why I skipped the suggestions of you guys, sorry.)

Amy lands, unharmed, though she needs a moment to catch her breath. Rabbits haven't really gotten used to flying just yet.

Some good comes out of the whole deal, though; the oak tree is just a bit DOWN the road.

hmmmm, so the road and everything was preserved in their entirity on the ground? Fair enough, make the journey to the Oak tree, going down the road, and maybe check for a telephone signal along the way.

+1
Also, please check the "walls" of the hole. Is it dirt and rocks, as if this whole thing happened "naturally" (as in the movement of lithospheric plates etc).

Phone her friend, and start the call with "you'll never guess what just happened".

( I think Amy needs to go find herself a handheld apeture science portal gun :p )

Does flash not have a nice antialiasing option :S looks more like ms paint than Adobe Flash!

(Could that be a style decision on part of the author? This question will be debated for generations to come.)

(Also, the increasingly quirky journey of Amy resumes tomorrow.)

Just between the two of us and the rest of the lot, he uses it intentionally to cover up for his lack of drawing skill *wink wink, nudge nudge* ;) :D

That is not to say he is still better than I am at drawing stuff :)

(I thought that much was apparent. Amy is a glorified stick figure, after all. Also, I'd appreciate if we could either keep non-game discussion to a minimum, hide it in parentheses or in a different topic altogether.)

No such luck. Reception is excellent, but the phone refuses to connect to a network.

Amy is not a geology student, sorry. She is quite sure that something's not right, though.

Anyway,

That is what appears to be a rose by the tree - pick it up.

Also, there is a faint outline of something or someone on the ground - inspect it more closely.
