The Hindhead bypass or whatever it's going to be officially named will sort out an utterly horrible traffic blackspot though - it's all down to a single set of traffic lights that are required for letting traffic on to the A3 from Hindhead - once this has been opened it will cut journey times along the A3 by at least 30 mins during daytime
