How much is the cost of taking option B and upgrading to C at a later date. Possible reasons for this; to build up capital from on going donations(£) during the summer when more people are outside?

Quick update on this.
Initially we're going for virtual option with a mind to seeing how we cope and then we'll go either dedicated or promethius (upgrade) at a later date.
I have my own personal virtual (destiny) which will be used to cover core services (but no games).
luc has kindly offered to host minecraft and trax will be hosting terraria from home. Once I'm re-housed I can host L4D2/L4D if required. TF2 server is empty most of the time now so we'll just invade someone elses from now on.
The other servers will be unavailable but will have their core configs backed up so they will be easy to re-install if we ever need.
I'm not interested in upgrading promethius until the new AMD chips are out next month. We'll save some money in the donations pot for a while and then we'll decide what we want to do with it at a later date (once I've moved house and setup a proper THN bank account).

Looking at your post on the differences, whats the advantage of taking C over B at this point? From your descriptions in your posts about virtual servers, with no gameservers would we not be wasting money?
I updated my post but looks like you were replying as I did. We're going with a virtual option initially and we'll see how well we cope. This will also allow us to build up some funds by saving money and that gives us new options in the future.

Nope its linux for core hosting - we have no need for windows atm.
