I'm on something of a tight budget. I'd love to buy loads and loads of games but I can't afford them all. I intensely dislike buying a game that turns out to be bad, however, doubly so when it means that I can't then buy another game that could actually have been good...
So, if you were in my shoes and could only buy one game between here and Christmas, which would you buy (and, preferably, why)?
... or something else entirely that I've not listed above?
I almost bought Crysis over the weekend but Game's prices online and in the shop were different (shop was more expensive) and that irked me so I figured that if I wanted the game I could get it from Amazon for cheaper.
I have both a PC and an Xbox 360 and I'm just as happy with either. In fact, the 360 is slightly preferably as it gives me reason to hang out downstairs on occasion; I see my home office far too much as I work at home...
Thoughts?
