Distance only affects your latency, the actual connection speed between any two points is entirely dependent on packet loss on the routers and connections that are used between the two end points. What you're effectively seeing there is some very good routes with very little loss of your maximum connection speed over the longer distances.I mean, let's be honest, 3100 miles is a lot more than 200, so why is 200 so marginally better? *Baffled once again*
