Im envisioning the team as just the 1 Warrior, who is the Chaos Lord, leading his Beastman and Mino onto the field. You can do it for 970k (including 3 rr's). I might then go a mutations theme on them, where every player will have a mutation by 2nd skill and the Chaos Lord will only get mutations. It could be really fun!

Funny thing is that the day before I saw you start posting about this build, I tried making one just as a variant of the "all goats" build to get a mino in, and to create my first chaos team ever.

So now I have a "Midway Monsters." team, based on the Mutant Football League, with the Chaos Warrior Bones Justice and the Minotaur K.T. Slayer. :p

Hi Panda. If it's OK I would like to switch.

I normally like to go a unique team if I can so I'm going to pull the Amazon team out and reapply with Necro's.

Well just logged on and sorted it. My team is Superdead Supergroup, 1000 TV Necromantic, and I went with 2 Golems, 2 Wights, 1 Wolf, and a Ghoul plus 3 re-rolls.

Thats the starting roster I used on the Coffin Dodgers. You need to save for the second werewolf and ghoul asap.

You need, IMO, to get guard on the wights asap, as the flesh golems skill slowly.

I keep using the same roster, but with another zombie instead of the ghoul. Can be somewhat risky in the early games because you only have three ballcarriers, but on the other hand you're not rebuying the same ghoul over and over :p

I'd never run that roster. With only 1 real scoring threat (the werewolf) you're just asking to be fouled. Using the werewolf as a ball carrier kind of wastes his blitzing threat too.

Wights aren't fast enough to handle the ball in my opinion, though you want to score with them.

OK, so, I've been thinking about the divisions. Obviously this isn't going to be perfect, but its a best effort based on 3 main factors.

1) The team value of your team
2) The race you're using, and my general opinion on its viability
3) My best guess/feeling on how experienced you are as a player.

Please don't feel offended. I'm open to switching and moving, because I want everyone to have as much fun as possible, and be placed where they aren't going to be bent over and violated without lube.

Division 1:

Tempscire
Traxata
Ghostwolf67
Lucius101
Xarlaxas

Division 2:

Dreamy
Huung
Velaphor
Kasatka
Mogwuai

Division 3:

Hoverdog
Panda with issues...
Narly Bird
Barninho
Snap Wilson

Division 4:

Thatbloke
Lebe666
Xylak
Comrade_phil
Fred Bucket.

Don't fret, as promotion/demotion will occur for the top and bottom teams in each division at the end of each 6 week season. Hopefully any outliers will be sorted out fairly quickly.

My commentry:

Div 1: Contains the highest TV teams, with a bunch of competent players. I wasn't desperate to put trax in there, and he's going to take a bit of a drubbing, because of his lower TV and because vamps are a tough team to use. But who am I kidding. Everyone wants to see the TraxHax beaten :)

Div 2: Still players with plenty of experience, but slightly lower TV. Mogwuai: I found it tough to 'slot' you as it were. I'm not sure as to your skill level or what is going on with your TV etc. If you feel you'll be outmatched, say, and I'll reconsider, but everyone has to go somewhere...

Div 3: I know myself, narly and Barninho are all using virgin squads, but I know we may overmatch the guys in the lower division, based on my experience playing friendlies with these guys (and in the case of Barninho, a very draining crunch cup elimination match which went down to the wire. I'll also be well out of my comfort zone, using elves. Snap wilson and hoverdog - You guys weren't the easiest to slot either. Using dwarfs is going to stand you in good stead though snap, and I wanted to try and keep the dwarfs out of d4, as they come pretty tough out of the box. They can also be very frustrating to play against as a rookie coach.

D4, well, it has a mix of bad teams (halflings, cough) Very raw players (Xylak, Fred?) bloke and his bad luck, with a fresh squad (if the walking dead can ever be described as 'fresh') and comrade phil. I'm fully aware that comrade phil's TV is going to be much MUCH higher than the rest of the teams here. I also know that phil plays a violent, but open game, where the ball is very much unimportant compared to putting the boot in...

R.I.P. Dreamy :D

I know the pain of being a WElf team in a division with bashy teams... but with TWO dwarf teams and a Lizardmen team - not to mention Kat's Norse - OUCH xD

However, I am looking forward to facing one other team in the division which doesn't come with its entire team having Block out of the box...

I can totally agree with me being in D4, I'm a rookie coach with a rookie team so no offense taken.
As I am probably the least experienced coach in here my only goal for this season is to win at least 1 point and not have all my players dead on the ground

Hmmm, quick one, is this a Cyanide league? I am asking because in Cyanide all groups in a private league need to be of even number of players. I.e. 5 players in each group wont happen, afaik... hope I am wrong though. Unless you playing your games freely in an open league and keeping track offline of course.

In Cyanide the best numbers for players are always multiples of 8 (in case you want play offs you also need even number of groups): 16, 24, 32 etc.

No worries Viajero. Each division includes a dummy team, so it brings the number up to 6. This gives each team a bye-week midseason, lots of gold and 16spp sprinkled randomly over the team. :)

I like this format as it lets those teams that have suffered a pulping (basically anyone who plays Phil) to recover and get some skills and reserves.

We also have the "filler" teams in each division, which act as an automatic 2-0 win bye-week, giving 2 MPVs as well as the 2*3SPP from the TDs.

EDIT: What Narly said. :p

Don't fret. As narly and Huung have pointed out, it's all in hand. I'm not quite as stupid as I look, though i look somewhat like this:

It's a tried and tested system for keeping the numbers of games down, but boosting SPP.

Well, I am not sure I deserve to be in there since my track record playing BB online is spotty at best overall, but I'll do my best and other than that, there is always demotion at the end of the season and I think I'll learn something while playing against my opponents.
