Blood Bowl Week 5

Just had possibly the bloodiest match EVER, By the end there were only 2 Goblins left on the field, that were unconscious.

I dealt 10 Casualties, 1 Death and 4 Ko's in total. I went 3 - 0 up and then when there was only a handful of goblins left they showed how much they could dodge, I surrounded one with 8 players (1 was the rat ogre) and the goblin made 3 Dodge rolls to score, Then when there was 4 Left they managed to dodge past my catcher who fumbled the ball twice to score again.

3 - 2 final score. But it was awesome

Bearing that in mind... I scored my first touchdown with just 4 gobbos left on the field and my second one with just 3 left...

Now thats totally true. I did definetly dodge a bullet there. Never schedule a BB match the same day as the London beer festival.

Won over Trax by 2-1.

This means I have the division, as I am up 3 TDs, while Delaney is only up 2.

Conceptually, if Drae wins by 3+ TDs, he'll take the division away from me, so, it's not over yet.

(I won against him, too, so, if he only wins by 2, I'll probably take it, unless his game is an uber-scorefest...)

Let's see what happens!

In any case, regarding the game, incredible bad luck for Trax in the beginning of the second half, as he was down to eight players, and an unfortunate pitch invastion left seven of them stunned. That's right, he was playing with only one player for the first two turns of the second half.

He still managed to force me score early (literally forced me, he actually pushed me onto the end zone), and almost managed to score in his final turn, which would have tied the game.

All in all, an amusing game, underscored by undeserved bad luck, but still, fun to play. 16/20 match rating.

This isn't true. Only four teams going through. 3 division leaders and THE SOLE BEST RUNNER UP. (Probably tempscire), I''l check later.

OK Here's the scores on the doors at the moment:

D1: Cheezewhizz2000 qualifies as top of the group with 11 pts.

Tempscire sits second on 10 pts: For: 7; Against: 4; Dif: +3

D2: Waterproofbob qualifies as top of the group with 13pts.

Noone else has more than 8pts.

D3: This is where it gets complicated.

So far: On 10 points:

Zoogy: For: 11; Against: 8; Dif: +3.------Beat Drae, Lost against Magos
Magos: For: 6; Against: 4; Dif: +2 (Can't qualify, sorry)----Beat Zoogy; Drew with Drae

On a possible 10 pts, assuming he wins his final game:

Drae: For: 6; Against: 5; Dif: +1; Lost against Zoogy, Drew with Magos

So: If Drae loses or draws Zoogy wins the group and Tempscire goes through as top runner up.

For Drae to go through he needs to beat Kasatka by at least 3 TDs. He can still go through if he wins by 2 TDs, but needs to win 6-4 for this to happen, any score with less than 6 TD's winning by 2 over Kasatka favours Zoogy to go through, as Zoogy won in the head to head match.

If Drae goes through, Zoogy will go through as best runner up, as he scored more TDs than Tempscire.

If Zoogy wins the division, and Drae finishes with +3 TD differential, as long as he scores 2 TDs in his final game, he will go through as best runner up, as he will have scored more TD's than Tempscire.

Phew! There you go, all the ramifications.
