As there are so many of us I'm assuming we are arriving through out the afternoon. Tis a tricky one tbh as normally it is a piece of piss as there is only a few of us. We will just have to do our best to be vaguely close to each other.

my reckoning was when trax and I arrive we will go pitch the tortoise asap, and I kinda planned to bring some colourfull rope and tent pegs and rope of an area as big as I can (I have a climbing rope) to reserve. The more people there when we initially pitch the better.

The camping area this time is extending into a massively larger area than has been used before - I suspect it will be rather difficult to all end up in the same area due to the number of people and our arrival times, so just find a good spot to pitch the tent and be done with it tbh... you only use the tents for sleeping anyway so being next to other people really doesn't matter too much.

This logic makes little sense.

There are a similar number of people, and more space. Ergo, it should be considerably EASIER to get a space together. And like I said, if we are all doing EAS (which I must book tomorrow) then we should be able to get a section together

If people are going to sleep at generally similar times, or possibly considering bringing BBQ or stuff for the mornings, it would make sense to all be together. Also saves people wandering around on their own in the darkness having no clue where they're going

If when people set up, they leave a tent and a bits width between each other, and stick some form of rope between the two, then people can intersperse as necessary when they arrive.

Me and fist are sharing my very small tent, which can squeeze in anywhere. I stil think we should try and all get together and play at TENT CITY. THN Town, population 20. I want to be the shairiff. Also, I'm having trouble finding where we were camped at i33 on the new map. Can somebody point it out?

Looking at the venue map and also from what I remember of the day I specced at i40, I believe you were in the topmost camping area, the other side of the fence to the red rooms, close to the train line.

if we leave stupid o'clock like tets was suggesting we'll get there about 1:30\2 if we leave a bit later i'd predict getting there 3-4, i should still have trax, blork and bobs numbers i think so can drop a message when nearly there to see where people are

Due to the new security perimeter we won't be allowed in without our pass... (that includes the on-site bar) and we won't get our pass until 6pm at the earliest, though I hope they do what they have done for the past couple of LANs, where they let people get their passes before then if they had pre-paid for EAS and had their fastpass with them.

You still wouldn't be allowed to setup until 6, but as long as you had the pass already it was easy to do
