Happy enough with £10 for a bit of extra security and some AC :)

Yes its expensive - but the whole thing adds up to a lot of money anyway and £10 is only going to be a small drip in the total cost of the trip for me.

and the noise

and the temperature

and the smell

and the light

and the lack of G2 kiddies.

I don't know what a G2 kiddie is and I don't like the sound of it either but this pretty much sums up my opinion.

To those who think £10 is too much: How much would you be willing to pay? £5?

I'd rather it wasn't an extra charge, personally :p

I'm not so bothered about a box that I would pay extra for it when the hall hasn't yet been given the benefit of the doubt. If it turns out the hall is terrible, then £10 in future would be worth it. If, however, the hall experience is still a good one, I don't see the need to pay extra just to be segregated.

Basically, I'm happy to go sit with Jessop and co in the hall, and for you guys just to find more people to dump in the box.

If you can get a definite either way answer for Munn and kadath then I'll see about asking for extras.

Need to see if the "no" people would still be willing to sit in a box though or whether they would want to sit in the hall...

Right: IT seems that some people are silly and cant extrapolate meaning:

The topic of this thread should be

"If we get 32 people will you pay the £10 required to get into a clanbox"

Dont care if youre happy or not about it, we just want to know what you're going to do. Dont care how you're feeling about it.

Continue :)

If by extrapolate meaning you mean, 'disagree with the statement posed but could otherwise change it to suit their views' then yes, I mis-extrapolated :p

I would be SUPER UNHAPPY (as per the option I chose) to have to pay for something I wouldn't have to had the venue been at the one I'd both paid and voted for. However, I would pay if we actually got 32 people sorted, and I'd screw people over if I didn't.

BIG difference between "yeah, sure, £10 is reasonable" and "MULTIPLAY YOU PISSKIDNEY! I'm only doing this because 31 other people would suffer if I didn't".

Think it might be better to re-word it as -

1- I will pay, willingly, grudgingly, whatever.
2- I will not pay no matter what.

The original post, if you read it, says:

Would you be willing to pay that to sit in a clanbox?

So people who answered "no" in the poll are saying "No, I am not willing to pay the £10 to sit in a clanbox".

Maybe the poll options just need to be reworded a bit to match the content in the OP.

It looks to me like we have a considerably greater number of yeys /maybe's than no. This would imply that we are going down the clan box. So of those who've voted no, if everyone else is clanboxing, are you in?
