[i43] Clanbox Charges!

Newbury box > Newbury hall > stoneleigh hall for me.

I found the stoneleigh hall with the size group we had actually made it a little impersonal.
My major concern with the Telford is that we'd suffer the same effect but worse in Telford with an even larger group.

Having said that I'm actually not bothered which way we play this. If we go for a box I'm happy to pay the £10 extra. However I don't want to lose any of the people that are short on cash if we do that. If that is going to happen I'd rather have us all together in the hall that divided and for me to be in a box.

Another thing have we tried bribing ppl at mpuk yet . Assuming we haven't used the golden ticket yet could we have that off the value of the clan box. Also where some of us have gold discounts and season tickets (may just be me and bloke) as we aren't using that discount could we have that as our £10. Also where a bunch of us have been inconvenienced with the mess that has been iLite can we have some money off clan box.

Some ideas to perhaps put in a support ticket to try and bribe the fine folk at mpuk. They will almost certainly say insert it rectally sans lubricant however we can but try.

But surely then it was in Berkshire? That's more of a large room. Whilst you never did Stoneleigh in the summer, I never did Newbury. It's apples and oranges atm.

I assume someone who has done both can expand further, but I'm almost certain the hall experience of Stoneleigh is nothing like that of Newbury.

Also, you said there were fewer of you? The experience of being in a clanbox of 32 with only a few friends and the rest made up of extras just for numbers would also fail to be intimate tbh. It's the amount of us going now which makes it fun, not the location we sit in.

Having sat with jessop for 2-3 hours on the ground floor it was nothing like it, the lack of 30m ceiling changed the whole feel.

Indeed, but bob, whilst being waterproof, is still but one man. I meant an overall general opinion. Hence I used those who had already been in a 1500 man warehouse as comparison.

So I realised today that I haven't actually asked jimmy and hypno whether or not they are happy to pay £10 for the box, next time either of em comes online I will poke them.

Unless there are anymore massive objections I think that those who are still opposed to the idea are still (most begrudgingly) willing to pay the extra, so once I find out what's happening with those two guys I will poke the Multiplay forums for the extra peeps.
