Lies Nanorz, s'only cuz you live on a farm and they couldn't find your damn house :D Play.com have always been prompt on their deliveries for me, just ignore Nanor (if you ever did take his advice in the first place :p)

Box art means little when everyones playing and you're waiting several days for it to come.

Play.com are awesome for old games, but new deliveries? I ordered Spore and it never came. :p

i have problems with Play and i live in the center of Edinburgh :/ personally i'll be getting it from Game as i also get lovely reward points, and amazon also have it for about the same price and are generally pretty good with delivery

Left 4 Dead will use the new matchmaking system we've been working on.

The new matchmaking system replaces the traditional server browser. By running a public dedicated server your server will be added to a list of servers available for clients to use when playing. Games are started from a Game Lobby by clients, who are then connected to a dedicated server when they start the game. When they're done, your server is added back to the list of available servers. Clients will be able to "Quick Match", "Play Online", and "Play With Friends" when they want to play a game.

You will still have access to the traditional Message of the Day for your server. For Left 4 Dead, we've added a banner ad you can create that will be displayed to clients when they're playing on your server. There is also a ranking system to show the popularity of your server.

This is the first version of what we've been working on, and we're going to want feedback from all of you once things start turning up tomorrow.

Not sure where the issue is tbh. Also if the demo is anything to go by this is going to be awesome.

Having played the demo briefly, I like their zombie swarming and the whole insanity of run-and-gun play that Left 4 Dead offers. I had expected, though, that ammunition conservation would play a greater role; unlimited pistol ammunition, and the ability to have two pistols at once, somewhat reduces the pressure. I'm sure there are different pressures to be had and the sheer numbers and speed the zombies rush with really requires you to fill the air with lead, which is cool but somehow not quite as tense as I was expecting.

Maybe I should be playing multiplayer and on a higher difficulty?

I've heard complaints that it's still too easy, even on the highest difficulty. Hopefully the vs. mode changes that.
