I've heard that the issue is with servers that are both passworded and group servers. Might want to try removing one or the other.

It's locked to the group? Odd, my friend was able to connect and play, he isn't part of it (Not for lack of me nagging him to join, though).

As I understand it, if the server is empty then no one outside of the THN steamgroup can play on it. However, if the server is populated then non-THN members can join.

So, is L4D still worth buying it, or shall I stick to other games? Gimme your opinions!

Here's the thing: the two campaigns that were 'prepared' for versus by Valve had (have) terrible game killing bugs. I can't imagine what those two that weren't would be like...

I'll be honest, I've played through 3 campaigns with my friend on co-op on the 360, and I am hopelessly addicted, it is such a riot (literally) and I love it when you're attacked by 100's of em, + the addition special zombies make for interesting and sometimes thrilling fights, it's always fun to set a tank on fire and watch it run riot :D. My personal favorite is in the farmhouse, hiding out in a tiny windowless room with my mate awaiting rescue while killing zombies by the hundred, never gets old :D.
I have to say that there are little or no glitches/bugs to speak of on the console version, not that I noticed anyway and I'm usually pretty good at spotting these things, perhaps the PC version wasn't as rigorously tested, but I don't know.

Cheers, Decky.
