There are perfectly legitimate reasons for visting that site, say for example you missed your favourite soap the night before.

[mod]And removed another torrent link. Legality is fairly grey. Don't care. Warez not allowed, not even in the grey area. --RS
Plus in this case there is no excuse: Iplayer, ITVplayer, 4od for all your favourite soaps and much more - Iron

That's pretty ambiguous... there's over 100 westerns from the '70's' :p

Actually I agree with Trax.
Can we not have such an massively generic clue - especially as the first one?

If you want to use such a clue, could you at least include a rough plot device or something?

For example, with Cry-Baby I could have started out with "A musical" which is of no help whatsoever. While we want to be a bit cryptic and mysterious - otherwise there is no challenge - such a clue just results in random guesses and wasted posts.

That was sort of my point, for a legitmate reason to use a torrent.

1) A Western from the 70s.

2 minutes of research later, this clue is inadequate :P

I'm going with blazing saddles as it is awesome :D

Clearly one clue was enough ;)

I did say from the 70s, and I wasn't going to keep folks waiting long before I gave the second clue of "Not your traditional Western, thanks to a colourful character". Alas, bob was too fast!

bob is pretty amazing, as was explained in the shoutbox yesterday with a little bit of thought (and a whole blob of luck) that clue was more than enough :D.

Anyway moving on.

1. A widower becomes an educator in the most unlikely of places after a drunken evening.

2. This man enables a corrupt system that exploits his friends to the benefit of his 'betters', performing this onerous task provides him with benefits that would otherwise be infeasible.

3. Our characters persistence improves the quality of life of those around him, one success is not enough and he continues his campaign, bringing culture to a harsh environment.

4. After this initial success the main character enjoys a beautiful piece of music with those around him, some don't understand some are angered but he is brought hope by the melody. He is punished by some for this act.
