Shame noone has heard of it, I'm kinda sad! It's one of the best action RPG's I ever played and it was bloody rock hard too (resulting in poor scores from reviewers who sucked).
It had 3D roamy outside bits, real time combat switched to 2D, then big bosses were like in the screenie of the dragon up there which were pretty awesome at the time. And the soundtrack was EPIC.

It was multi-platform, and yes it was Starquake, one of the first ever games I got quite addicted to. Looking back it's hard to see why.. I mean what is that a screenshot of? A giant robot chicken sh1tting out artificially coloured cereals into a nuke?
