I only just found out that there the term 'euro force' is actually based on a real life euro force. Its an idea by the european union to build itself a defence force, although america dont like it as they think it'll undermine NATO.

Damn bloody Europe! It's all part of the plan to turn Europe into one big Superstate! Bloody bad idea.

Stupid Brussels, why don't they get their heads out each others arses and realise that nobody likes the Europeans???

P.S Europeans and British are completely different people, and it should stay that way!

Britain is part of Europe, and will eventually become a part of the European Union, so the way you're saying Europeans and British are different isn't even true. I don't see why becoming a part of the EU seems to bother you so much. You're just going to give up a currency, and that's it. You'll still keep you're own way of life. You'll still walk down to the shop and buy stuff, but with Euros. It's not that big a difference.

Sorry for the rant, but I wanted to nip this in the bud before someone gets seriously offended..

TBH honest i dont want to be part of the EU because that means we'll have more asylum seekers and i ill find the Euro hard to grasp,

also if any euro country decided to invade somewhere then we would be expected to fight with them, and if that happens the USA wouldnt be our friends, i know that everybody calls the stupid and fat but id rather be on the right side of them as they are the most powerful nation on earth (dont be silly and argue that the British army is better, USA have alot more than we do, and alot more money goes to the military)

anyway getting this tread back on track it seems lame to pay for a patch if you see it that way, i think BF2 will take a suddern drop in people who play it as quite a few people out there wudnt want to pay, booster packs seems like a bad idea to me, just stick with free downloadable patches

British Marine worth 10 US marines and that is true, they only take an 8 week course but us brits have to take to courses which dds up to something like 8 months- but im not that accurate but basically, if we had the numbers, and they didnt have the nukeS, good old fashioned war i(im not saying that war is good but u know wat i meaN no bombs just infantry) then we would spank them, this is only my opinion but i do strongly believe it, i do apologise for any disruptions i have caused but it is only an opinion and i dont want anyone leaving over it.

Nah entering the euro will be good for Britain, less tariffs and restrictions on trading between nations = a stronger more productive economy.

Secondly, whilst we can grumble at EA it makes market sense, they know we will buy the product, so there's no reason to release it for free. However that does not mean that they will stop releasing patches.

Also EA seems to like releasing stuff on Friday's and as it wasn't out last night, I'd expect it to be released along with Euro Force, as 1.12 was.

Finally yes, you're quite correct not-much can stand up to the U.S, training or equipment doesn't really matter, it's all about supply lines and troop numbers.

Take wwII for example, Russia effectivly won the war, Germany took 3million casualties (including all other fronts) and Russia took 13 million. This effectivly means that for each german killed, Russia would loose 4, now the 3million death count includes all other fronts so the ratio was much higher I'd expect.
Either way, the Germans were better equiped and trained than any other army (even the Para's get tatoo's of the German Badges as a mark of respect) but when you cannot bring large enough volumes of troops to the front-lines and cannot produce cheap equipment fast enough, the war is lost.

On Euro's I personaly look forward to the switch, so long as the Euro increases in value to be the equivelant value of Sterling, or I'll be confused... :s

lol - Ok so I dont want to offend any of our great International members - but Britain is Britain! We are english, I am sure as hell not European! I would also like to state that we are not the 51st state of America either. We are an Island we Should stay an Island, and Island of brits not euro's! Im sticking with the Queen!

Plus Brussels have no idea how to run a bath let alone a whole load of countries, they keep introducing stupid laws etc.

i still think we should be part of the EU but we should NOT be a european state, and also Scotland should be scotland, wales can be wales england is england and of course northern ireland can do wat they want cos im not sure where they stand tbh

We are part of the EU and it will be so much easier with euros, it means you can go anywhere in europe without the hassle of changing the currency. Why does britian need to be an exception? It is just the name of the currency, a pound is not superior in any way to a euro, they are just a method of payment.
