meh, something else i made up. Tried to focus more on the hub, rather than gaming specifically, and just took some of the titles from the current hub. The style can be redone depending on the options there, and the 'text+icon' feel could be incorporated into a menubar underneath also.
But im going out in 10 mins and not dressed yet, so was a little bit of a bodge job nearer the end, but thats the kinda gist.

Really nice Tetsuo! What you could do, if you want the names, is just have them sort of glimpse through the black part (maybe that's already done? I haven't read the whole thread), maybe a bit like this:
if you see what I mean. It's easy and you can make the text just barely readable, so it doesn't detract from the minimal feel of the banner.

I was in a hurry, I was making an edited version with more names but stupid photoshop crashed and I said to myself 'fuckit'. I can add more names later if need be, this ones just to give the general idea
That is what I wrote but not what I meant. I'll be sure to say "submitted" in future.
There's a discussion going on as to the next steps after the competition; are we just putting one of these banners straight up or are we choosing a design and then asking for a polished/tweaked final?
I'm currently leaning towards the design choice side of things; no final direction has been decided as yet, however. Given that, I'm not updating the Admin/Mod vote with Tetsuo's banner update but it's worth hanging on to regardless in case that design wins.
