It's quite late so I'll come up with a more thorough write-up tomorrow, however, attached to this post should be the replay of the game between myself and Traxata.

Thanks Huung. That'll mean you've got a game outstanding against Ghostwolf for this week.

As a general aside, you've all got roughly 48 hours to get your games in before week 2 of the league.

I can't wait for week 2. When we were discussing the league early on, i thought a match a week was a lot, but now i'm wanting more and more games... to please the Chaos Gods and avoid their wrath!

I want my team to progress faster! The game gets really fun once you start levelling up and those linesmen get specialisations

We'll take this positive feedback on board for the next league, Which we intend to be a lot more game intensive.

With a potential maximum of seven games for each team, this league will be 'skill light'. I suspect no-one will acquire more than 6-8 level ups in their team total.

Also, anyone with the facility to check, please post the games left to be played. I believe Temscire vs Velaphor is the only one still outstanding, as I believe Huung and Ghostwolf are playing as we speak.

Ghostwolf and I just played our match. I believe he intends to do a write up once he gets to Panda's later, but score-wise it was another hard fought 1-1 draw.

Iirc that would be stat padding.

In this case, not. Once a team is committed to a league it cannot be used for any non-league play while the league is running. This includes an embargo on off-league matches from teams within the league.

I have a second team set up identical to my league team.

If anyone wants a friendly, gimme a shout if I'm not busy :)

Yeah i more meant i want more league games - playing chaos i don't score goals often, and i can only rank well my hurting the crap out of other teams and knocking them down the league tables.

Squiggutter squinted at the other team "Dem sneaky lizard gits aint so 'uge" said the poor sighted chainsaw weilding gobblin. The rest of the team were less than convinced as the enormous Kroxigor followed by 6 Saurus marauded out onto the pitch.

Team captain Ardta positioned his team ready to kick the ball to the Lizardmen. Play was only delayed by a little bit as they searched for Fistdodga goblin who (after being found) was promptly dragged by his feet to his rightful place between the two trolls and in front of the Kroxigor. All parties eyed him with culinary curiosity.

The game started with the pogoer lamping the ball downfield to his skink rivals. The skink ran eagerly for the ball but it slipped several times through his claws. Watching from his high vantage point the pogoer snickered to himself as he tightened the lid to the jar of grot oil. Once the ball was finally in the skinks clutches the Kroxigor opened up the festivities by laying out one of the trolls for two turns. The troll, once down, saw a pretty flower and would stare at it hypnotised for most of the first half.

The left flank was left dangerously open by the trolls inactivity and the quick witted skinks evaded all attempts to be put down by the goblins. With the saurus putting up an iron wall around the ball carrier the gobbos could only watch as the skink carried the ball right into the endzone.

With only 1 turn left in the first half the ball fell to the gobbos. Ardta gave the nod to Skydiva who tightened his flying scarf and pulled down his aviator goggles. With the ball in his possession, Skydiva grabbed the trolls attention by a series of shrill yells and kicks in the foot. At first the troll was going to eat him instead he settled for throwing him into the dirt right at his feet. Skydiva goes nowhere fast. End of first half.

With the ball coming to the goblins it was time for a change of tactics. Squiggutter goblin unsheathes his chainsaw and hugs it with all the love and affection a goblin can possibly have for a shiny object of murder and mayhem. Which it turns out is alot. He takes his position in the lineup without fear. The trolls hear the whir of the chainsaw in his hands and dont bother eyeing up the potential meal. They've lost too many fingers that way already. He eyes the thing in front of him through blurred vision and exclaims "thats the biggest squig i've ever seen"

The Kroxigor sits peacefully at the starting lineup when he feels a slight stinging sensation. His right shoulder hurts a little bit and there is this buzzing noise he cant quite place. His massive head turns to the right just as Squiggutter goblin finishes slicing the massive gouge in the kroxigors hide, all the time laughing and screeching with glee. The massive lizard is startled so much it falls to the grass and has to be dragged by several lizards off the pitch. The trolls smash the saurus either side of the kroxigor and another one of them is hurt openeing a massive hole in the centre that the fleshy skinks can close. Though one does try. Squiggutter goblin charges the skink and kills him.

The Saurus try to stop Ardta and his lot from scoring but they can only put the chainsaw goblin down for a turn. Gobbos score to equalise.

The rest of the game degenerates into butchery and chaos. 1 - 1 draw.

2 skinks killed 2 injured.

Bit late on the update but been travelling to see panda.

Special thanks to huung for being able to stand in for pwnstar and give me a good game.
