My laptop has been running Folding@Home for the last 8 and half days, pretty much uninterrupted! Yay!

It's time to bump the folding again, methinks :D

As of now we only have one active computer - I haven't reinstalled it until tonight (I'm doing it as we speak...)

I really think we should reclaim our place in the top 2000 - don't you?

Also, if anyone has a ps3, I hear they are exceptionally good at racking up those work units ;)

So, who else is installing/reinstalling? And mad props (+rep) to whoever's still running the program! Come forward and recieve your just reward :P

I was doing this for a while with my new PC, the dual processor made it easy to do without having much of a cutback on system performance. I think I stopped folding because I was experiencing some system instability, but I can give it another go.

We also have a PS3 but it really belongs to my dad and I doubt he would let me keep it on and run folding at home all the time. I did notice folding@home on the PS3...very interesting indeed.

Ah, good reminder. All the systems I was running it on have either gone back to their owners or failed... but I've reinstalled on my current main system. I'm amused to realise that the remaining processor still working is actually Rojaws... :D

I stopped running it quite recently because it was causing my system startup to be damned slow for some reason.

Plus it wasn't taking full advantage of the fact that i have a dual core processor. I may try again however.

I installed it on my brother's ps3 though, do i get reppage for that? :D

someone remind me once I'm back in uni I'll get my OC'ed quad core on the case
4 cores at 3.1G should make a nice little folder.

It does take advantage of your dual cora processor, if you install the latest beta. :)

And you get reppage if you run it on your brothers comp in your name, so thehavennet team gets the WU's :P

I just installed the SMP client :) Let's see if I can't put these cores to some use, and rack up a few WU:s :D
