That second shot definitely triggered a memory although I can't remember playing it much.
Right, then, here's an old arcade game - not sure if was ever on a console / PC but was one of my favourites when it come out.
Partial screen shot - more will be revealed if it's not too damn easy already
/If arcade-only games are out of the scope of this 'contest' then I'll get something else... but I loved this game!

Yes because I played it lots. Although, like I say, not sure if it was ever on a console so not sure if it's valid here but it was definitely a video game that could be played in the UK.

Well done Zooggy! It is the fabulous SuperLocomotive from Sega.
An all-time classic as far as I am concerned and one of the first arcade games to have great theme music.

I must admit I did do some research for that. (No reverse picture lookup, though, that would be uncouth, as was already said upthread... Just plain old googling of things, and even then, it wasn't all that easy to find...!)
