ive been playing around with some of the original designs I had.

I tried moving up the "thehavennet" thing to the top to leave a bit more room to put the various silhouettes in underneath, as where the text was, it was quite tricky to place a silhouette somewhere where it didnt look a bit odd. Thats sort of based on http://i.imgur.com/6llUR.png that style again. Trying to find some more decent screenshots to use for the silhouettes.

Vibs didnt seem to like the text at the top like that with the "thehavennet" bit enlargened.

Although at the moment I'm worried its starting to become a bit too cluttered. Maybe should cut back to only having a monochrome silhouette and removing the buildings (was going to get some generic buildings, and not specifically newbury, but i already had those as comps to hand!)

Could you put a small (.org.uk) under the name bit just so its a little more obvious where to find us Doesn't need to be attached to the word TheHavenNet though

Annoyingly I prefer the blue version BUT, there's going to be a wealth of opinions and its your effort so go with the one you like.

I personally think that for the size of the wall we're trying to fit, longer and shorter would be best. something like 8ft by 2ft.

IF you look at the aspect ratio of the text "[thehavennet]", its at least 6 times wide as it is high.

http://i.imgur.com/SwO9h.png - looking at that, you could easily cut it at the blue horizontal ruler I stuck in, and it would look alright. Otherwise it seems a bit too spaced out vertically.

Thoughts on the size?

Am also trying to get some good silhouettes of minecraft stuff, but it doesnt really work!

8ft * 2ft looks pretty awsome, and i'm loving the orange. I still think the original text looked better but thats my personal opinion.

I think it would look better with both being the same colour, and although I like the blue, I think the orange looks better for this!Who's the little chappy off to the left?

Having spoken to elD we need to have finalised this by Monday at the latest to get it made by his mate

I don't know if the background text makes it look a little cluttered, but I'm loving this one the most so far. I like both the blue and orange, but the orange at least feels more summery and energetic.

I'm loving the orange, that is awesome stuff. Only thing I would say is that for me the clan tag [thn] in the background should be capitilised so [THN]. Otherwise that is pretty damn awesome

The font is a lower case only font! Will have a look to replace that tonight as I'm out today.

will render out a blue and orange version so you guys can choose which ones you want. Maybe I should stick a portal image on the left or right of each of them

looking rather nice, but it would be interesting to see the current design with the darker blue, slightly speckled background from the first one as i really like that and the current design, but not too enthused with those 2 colours.
