This is to let ppl know, me and blacker have started on the order side, in dragonback mountain server. looking to start the haven guild there for order and have yet to start a destruction side server. We are asking all ppl interested in playing to start here, so far from what iv seen of the game it looks very promising, a few graphical bugs but other than that its very shiny

That won't work for me, unfortunately. I'm not planning on going on any of the Open RvR servers; I'm going with the Core rules. Not to worry.

In fact, Rojaws and myself are most likely going with Axe Bite Pass. As first on the list I figure it has the best possibility of a high server population and therefore the most interesting battles, given the premise and design of WAR as I understand it.

Awwww Ronin! Cmon!! Its very rare that you even find the enemy when you're running around, and when you do, its usually during public quests where you should be killing them anyway to stop them from achieving their goals before you achieve yours.
We need 6 to form a guild I believe, and with Macca, SgtFury, Blacker, Veshi and myself, we're only one short...

...So one of you hurry up!

As a side note, my collector's edition box came through in the post today

Contact a friend of mine in-game, his character is called "Sethvir"

I got him to create his character on the same server so that when I join in later I will be able to play with you lot and get him into the guild aswell.

Just tell him that you are a friend of "thatbloke from THN" and tell him that you are also from THN and you need his presence or whatever to start the guild and he should be a willing [strike]victim[/strike] volunteer.

Bear in mind this guy has never played an MMORPG in his life and will most likely be bombarding you with a smegload of questions

Awesome, I'll get right on that then! Im just hoping with the official release, order starts to get some better PvPers, because we're getting our arses handed to us on a plate atm.

Also, Veshi, you and Blacker seem to be in a guild already, called "Prosapia". Are you guys intending to stay there now?...

I used to really be into warhammer so I'm curious. Even with the reviews and stuff I want an opinion from you guys. Is this actually fun or is it just another MMO grind fest.

Re-rolling with real life mates on Mount Silverspear, as destruction. Although the game is heavily in its early stages, so could swap around at any time I guess.

Im just finding order to be a horribly slow process, as I wanted to do alot of RvR, and destruction is kicking the crap out of order on every server Ive made a character on so far... Losing wasnt levelling me as fast as I would have liked

Good luck with the guild and everything, should my other mates give up on the game I can always jump back onto Dragonback and back to order!

Only played 15 minutes or so but looks like a very polished product so far (certainly compared to the likes of aoc).

And btw - very very impressed with their CE set. Huge sturdy box.. two yes TWO hardback books, both very pretty. And loads of other bits and bats!!

I can't decide if I should use the mousemat or keep it as is for sake of the set being pristine. hmm. Likewise to paint the orcs you get with it or leave them as new.. hmm!

Got a copy and I'm playing on huung's sever (Silverspear) as the Order races are boring and I know IRL him as he's at lincoln Uni. I have to say that the clases are actually have alot more interesting mechanics, I've finally manage to get my sorceress (Aymasia) to kill herself The public quests are great fun and PvP stuff sounds good, I'm only lvl 6 and can only go the tier 1. Anyway, I might actually play WAR because I like it, rather than playing WoW simply because everyone else I know plays it.
