On topic: not sure what I'll roll with this time. The thought of merrily smashing my way through teams 500-600 TV below me amuses me, but I don't know as I want to be 'that guy'. I'll mess around in a few games with Vel and find something which sticks.

If there is a hole that needs filling, I can offer up my team "Gjallarhorny" for the task.
They are a Norse team with about four games experience. I've generally decided to not play them because Norse die too easily, but this League seems like a good place to play stuff you would not otherwise try.
(I had ideas about rookie Khemri, but I think that one fumbling bony team and one fumbling bone-headed team is enough

Sometimes losses can get you down. I think that it helps playing against nice coaches, as i find that even when you lose, you can still enjoy the in-game banter. That's why i never usually play in mm and prefer leagues with friendly coaches like THN.
8 losses in a row is tough and i can see why you are questioning whether bb is the game for you. I really think that Norse are a tough team to play against good coaches though. For more serious leagues like the CC, perhaps you are better off going as 1 of the more competitive teams.
Anyway, this isn't the place to chat about that. I hope you have good luck with your Chaos this season. And if you do manage to get a couple of wins, you can always then decide to go with a cool theme, even just for 1 or 2 players.
Residing in Japan and therefore having the Japanese influence, i have always been tempted by some sort of tentacle monster build.
Thanks, I was just venting a little bit, since playing in MM has proven to be utterly horrible, you try to play finesse, you run into dwarves, you play bash, your team does not break armour, instead you get completely wiped. Ah well I think I'll stick with Chaos and play a few matches with them in CTA as practise (any suggestions on some fun builds? I was thinking about going
2 RR; 3 Warrior in order to fit the Minotaur in there somewhere)
P.S. when is the league going to start?

Get applications in and GET SOME.
At this point I'd like to get a call out for Big D, DocBot and Ronin to please, pretty please spend a minute to move their bye week teams over to the new league, and ask Waterproofbob to also apply with a placeholder bye week team. That will give us 4, 1 per div.

Just played my first match with my new team, Meat the Truth (0-0 draw against some Orc team) and got myself to an amazing TV 1010
Is it oke if I play a couple matches more on thursday and friday before I sign up ?
Yes, just work on keeping your combined TV and available cash down to levels that won't make TV1300ish team cry.
