Mmm, you've talked me into it, I think I might get it when it's released! All this talk of Big Berthas from TA makes the game sound pretty cool!

I'd be interested to find out if you're still of the opinion that your CoH skills let you take on 3 opponents at once. I'm sure I could find another 2 willing to try with me...

Count me in. *Expects Psi not to reply to this thread, or to pull out*

You can also see the intro movie at Fileplanet.

What a meandering story :/.

Cool city and tank transport though. Tres TA, but not as good. The TA intro was pacey and full of explosions!

The story lines are so similar to . Mostly robot people versus purist hummies. Meh, is it going to be just TA on a very large scale?

His second attempt at TA, Kingodoms, wasn't that great. So maybe it was a fluke the first time?

Play.com have a matching Limited Edition which is different! And £10 cheaper! :D

Game's version has the Aeon Faction's icon and stuff, with 2 posters for the Aeon Faction. Play have the Cybran Faction version. Which the same (but £10 cheaper), with everything for the other faction. Enjoy!

I had a preorder on Play.com from ages ago, but it got automatically updated to the Limited Edition when it was announced.

EDIT: Ooooh, I see the release date has been brought forward a tad. Just last week or so the release date was back in March, now its forward again into February. Game on!

Pre-ordered from Play too!

Bring on 16th Feb :D.

Oh, and mucho awesomeness, Jeremy Soule (who did the original TA score, and apparently every other game with great music if you check his wiki [except Halo and Chaos Theory ;)]), is doing the music again :D.

Doubt my PC would even look at this without crying :(

You can see in some of the videos that their demonstration computer was having a hard time coping with it all, I hope they aren't on a powerhouse PC cos if they are then we're all screwed.

The review in PC Gamer was saying their powerhouse PC was having problems with it :). Although that was all bells and whistles I think.

Just imagine split monitor goodness with it too. *sigh* I can dream.

I will buy this game but only when I can be bothered to upgrade. A 3.2Hhz simply isn't enough for this game. This game needs a beefy machine.

Well, my old processor could handle BF2/2142 very decently and that was only 2.2Ghz. They'd be crazy to make the system requirements outwith that kind of region.

It's not all about the Hertz now. It's about the pain too! (geddit?)

But seriously... It's not all about the Megahertz you got. The more the better, but still, expecially with the 64 bit processors and dual-core and all that kinda stuff that's now not the only thing to look at

Thatbloke: One thing to think about, some guy at Valve (who is heading up the multi-core optimisation of the Source engine) has said that graphics cards may no longer be big beasts of things. With all the quad cores and (at some point) even more going onto a single CPU, he believes that all the things that a GPU does could be done on a multicore CPU.

So yeah, it's not all about the Hertz, but it's may turn around at some point and be all about the cores!

Will find link at some point in the day that isn't pre-7am.
