It was going to be a tough decision, but I knew that (mathematically speaking) we had to act. Waiting a day would not help our situation at all. The Clubbers knew we were on the hunt, and I'd no doubt they'd start to thin our ranks the first chance they got. It was the time to act.

I said a prayer, and rolled my dice. Eight. waterproofbob, sorry about your luck.

Oh Highest Holy of Holies, I give unto thee a Requiem for Midge Minor and all in attendance.

I will proceed with a reading from the right righteous, Leviticus, quoting numerations for ease of reference.

Leviticus 1

1 And the LORD called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock.

3 If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.

4 And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.

5 And he shall kill the bullock before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

6 And he shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into his pieces.

7 And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire:

8 And the priests, Aaron's sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar:

9 But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

10 And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish.

11 And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar.

12 And he shall cut it into his pieces, with his head and his fat: and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar:

13 But he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest shall bring it all, and burn it upon the altar: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

14 And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the LORD be of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons.

15And the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and wring off his head, and burn it on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be wrung out at the side of the altar:

16 And he shall pluck away his crop with his feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, by the place of the ashes:

17 And he shall cleave it with the wings thereof, but shall not divide it asunder: and the priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

AMEN!

As a closing closure I call upon the Wrath of God, to smite these evil Clubbers. I, I choose for the charnel... guide me Hand of Him... I choose Sephiroth!

Let it be written that he be EVIL!

God bless you all.

It seems that in these times some have lost their heads and are resorting to entirely irrational plows, trusting to dice is a fast track to worse things mr D. It's said that all the gambling in this town is run thro the mafia. So I say this to you, are you as you seem to be a gambling man. I have no bad feeling towards you and I hate to see a good possible patron as yourself turn against a meagre musician with such ferocity.

I feel no bad feeling towards you and as such do not feel you should die.
However I must ask different questions of master Sephiroth who's shop was so close to the event, he knows somet that he isn't revealing.
I vote for sephiroth

[desc]Night gradually starts its descent on the town of New Havensville, after this most horrible of days. Midgert Minor is to be buried tomorrow, in a ceremony that is sure to touch the hearts of residents of the town.

Now that the town has taken the law into their own hands, finger pointing has begun, will this be the end of New Havensville as we know it? Or will the Townspeople eradicate The Clubbers from their midst, allowing them to live in peace?

Only time will tell...

For now, The townspeople have some major decisions to make, like who was responsible for the death of Midgert minor.

Perhaps the absent Mayor Midgert will come out of hiding and declare who/what he sees as the solution? The high-flying businessman Ronin Storm is also due back tomorrow, how will he be able to explain his absence as a mere "business trip???"[/desc]

It is now NIGHT. No discussion is allowed to take place until the morning. The Mafia, Sheriff and Private Detective all have one hour to get their private votes in. You all know what to do!

[desc]The sun rises and it still seems that the Mayor is absent from his duties... Concerned about his health, a police officer heads to his house to find the front door hanging open...

Inside, very little looks wrong, but the house is deserted. That is, until the hapless officer heads up the stairs into the Mayor's bedroom. The door has been kicked off its frame and lays at an awkward angle off to his left. To his right, the Mayor's bed. Used, but unoccupied... all except for a single white rose with a single red coloured petal.

"Oh s**t..."

Mayor midgert is now missing, presumed dead... and it seems that no-one will know what happened as a cursory sweep of the house provides no evidence that could point to a suspect...[/desc]

It is now Daytime on day two of the game. Night will fall at approximately 9pm tomorrow night (Thursday 20th).

All townspeople must now vote for someone who they feel is a member of the Mafia to remove from their midst.

Oh my good lord, the entirety of Miderts family destroyed by this evil. We must act my friends and we must act now! Further more I would like to call together a council of the elders to decide who should replace my good friend Midgert in his duties, someone must serve in his place so that we may keep some forms of order in this mayhem!

[desc]The airport is busy this morning, many comings and goings. Amongst them one notable returns to the town of New Havensville. His driver escorts him from the aeroplane to his car through the morning drizzle. Inside, as he is accustomed to, the morning's paper waits.

Mafia Murders Mayor Midgert! the headlines print in bold yet no evidence is actually offered as to his death, merely his disappearance. The man rubs his cleanly shaven chin, deep in thought.

"Where to Mr Storm, sir?" the driver asks. His reverie broken, Guild Master Ronin Storm looks up from the ill news. "City Hall, Sam, and step on it."

The chaos at City Hall could almost leave one with the impression that a state of war had been declared, clerks running back and forth like headless chickens, secretaries in tears and over it all middle management shouting fruitless requests for quiet and order.

An old hand in the management of such disorder, the Master of the Miners and Engineers Guild takes up his strongest picket line voice and lays into the fray, directing and defusing, bringing order from the chaos.

All the while, he asks quiet questions of those he sees. "What do you know?" "Who has been talking?" "What time were the bodies discovered?" That manner of thing. It does not take him long to build a picture of what has occurred in the past forty eight hours during his annual general meeting out of town.

Armed with what knowledge he can gain, he starts to make some calls to arrange meetings through the day. This is not the first time he's run into such gangland troubles and he fully intends for this not to be the last.

'Tis the call just before eleven that is perhaps most important for the Guild Master knows that all the talking in the world can still give way to a determined man with a Thompson machine gun. The conversation is short, a price agreed. Before nightfall, Mr Ronin Storm will ensure that he has at least the minimum of protection one must have in times such as these.

That done, sure in the knowledge that such dastardly fiends as the Mafia keep their scurrilous deeds to night hours, he sets about gathering the other influential -- in their own circles, admittedly -- folk together to discuss what is to be done.

"We can," he declares to those gathered, "make this quite simple. Where were you all, exactly, last night and the night before?" He looks questioningly, even scathingly at the assembled notables. "My alibi is simple. I was not even here and I can have the sworn affidavits of ten respected men from all over this country here by tomorrow morning to give weight and truth to my words. So, where were you all last night?"[/desc]

I feel I owe a huge apology to you Master Sephiroth, I was caught in a mad panic to save my own selfish self, The accusations for Big D truelly shocked me and I was desperately grabbing at straws to what I thought was going to be my own funeral. I maybe a mere penniless musician but I live for the music and would be devastated to die before becoming famous.
I must try to be stronger in future and stand up for myself against threats aimed at me rather than hiding behind the threats of some of our other more venerable folk. Piacular is such a great leader I merely hid behind him in an attempt to save my own skin. For that I apologise. May we all as Ronin said work together in this time of hardship to rid our selves of these vile vermin infesting our once peaceful city.

Oh, woe is me!

Mafia malfeasance has left mighty Mayor Midge mutilated, with me miserable! And for what? More morbid machinations from the mad Mafioso’s next morning?

Mever!

But, momentarily, a meaningful mass for missed misogynist Mayor Midge.

From the messenger Malachi I shall read, quoting numerations for ease of reference.

Malachi 1
1 The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi.
2 I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,
3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
4 Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.
5 And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The LORD will be magnified from the border of Israel.
6 A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?
7 Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible.
8 And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.
9 And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts.
10 Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.
12 But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible.
13 Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD.
14 But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the LORD a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.

Malachi 2
Admonition for the Priests
1 "And now this admonition is for you, O priests.
2 If you do not listen, and if you do not set your heart to honour my name," says the LORD Almighty, "I will send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have already cursed them, because you have not set your heart to honour me.
3 "Because of you I will rebuke your descendants; I will spread on your faces the offal from your festival sacrifices, and you will be carried off with it.
4 And you will know that I have sent you this admonition so that my covenant with Levi may continue," says the LORD Almighty.
5 "My covenant was with him, a covenant of life and peace, and I gave them to him; this called for reverence and he revered me and stood in awe of my name.
6 True instruction was in his mouth and nothing false was found on his lips. He walked with me in peace and uprightness, and turned many from sin.
7 "For the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, and from his mouth men should seek instruction—because he is the messenger of the LORD Almighty.
8 But you have turned from the way and by your teaching have caused many to stumble; you have violated the covenant with Levi," says the LORD Almighty.
9 "So I have caused you to be despised and humiliated before all the people, because you have not followed my ways but have shown partiality in matters of the law."

Judah Unfaithful

10 Have we not all one Father? Did not one God create us? Why do we profane the covenant of our fathers by breaking faith with one another?
11 Judah has broken faith. A detestable thing has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem: Judah has desecrated the sanctuary the LORD loves, by marrying the daughter of a foreign god.
12 As for the man who does this, whoever he may be, may the LORD cut him off from the tents of Jacob —even though he brings offerings to the LORD Almighty.
13 Another thing you do: You flood the LORD's altar with tears. You weep and wail because he no longer pays attention to your offerings or accepts them with pleasure from your hands.
14 You ask, "Why?" It is because the LORD is acting as the witness between you and the wife of your youth, because you have broken faith with her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant.
15 Has not the LORD made them one? In flesh and spirit they are his. And why one? Because he was seeking godly offspring. So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith with the wife of your youth.
16 "I hate divorce," says the LORD God of Israel, "and I hate a man's covering himself with violence as well as with his garment," says the LORD Almighty.

So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith.

The Day of Judgment

17 You have wearied the LORD with your words.
"How have we wearied him?" you ask.
By saying, "All who do evil are good in the eyes of the LORD, and he is pleased with them" or "Where is the God of justice?"

AMEN!

May Muadib move you.

Another death you say, this is not good.

But here is the question you should all be asking, where was the town sherrif when he should o' so obviously be guarding the mayor as he is sure to be the first to in the event that he is aligned with us the poor innocents of havensville!?

And mr bob, your admission to being a poor man, is this the admission of a guilty conscience?

For the time being i vote for Withdrawn

's Demise for the heinous crime of provoking the town.
