Im sure some people will pickup the bill for the slackwits. Trax bringing LEDs? I loved them, the ice blue ones at midnight made me feel as if it was morning with blue sky by teh coast.

The problem I have is that my eyes are really bad at focussing on a screen if i have monitors in a pitch black room, to a point where I get really bad headaches if i dont have ambient light around when staring at a screen for more than an hour a day
The LEDs trax brings really help with that as it means there is some background ambient light there. The sort of light levels that you get in B0 are way too low for me I'd say. Dunno about how bright it would be in the main telford halls, but I can't imagine that theyre too high. Wonder if people on adjacent desks would mind me bringing some desk lamps along

Majority of people want it dark so that would be a no on the desk lamps, would certainly annoy the shit out of me.

Get with the times, we already did!
Same for me sort of, first thing i do when i load battlefield is turn the lights on, although i do play in the dark in atmosphere games, eg stalker, batman.
With regards to locking the box, I wonder if we can have it so the last person to leave at night locks the box and leaves it with a security desk, so that we can have teh awesome LEDs and trax is pacified and the lighs are lovely, as long as we cant see the bulbs themselves.

Now assuming once this venue video comes out, a lot of people will be going "oooo shiny air conned boxes, want!", I'm proposing sticking a deadline for people to get their booking IDs sorted by Wednesday (25th) as Multiplay are going to stop doing their earlybird offer a few days after, and then the magical Wizzo shall return to lead us forward to Telford.
Does this sound reasonable? It's been 2 and a half months since I originally put a thread up warning people of i43, so I think 2 and a half months is acceptable advance notice
Hopefully we'll receive info on how much any extra charges would be to be able to have this lovely air conditioned summery awesomeness soon, and can then make a decision on whether we are willing to pay this extra for the boxes.
Currently we're a couple off getting 32, so if anyone has any friends who may want to come to i43, then try and get them to register a ticket.
If, by wednesday, we end up a couple short of 32, we can then put up a thread on the multiplay forums saying "box of 30 looking for a couple more".
Sound reasonable?

I didnt include this end of month payday as we've already had one end of month payday since tickets went on sale, so wouldn't have thought allowing for another would have helped that much.
Also, as a warning to people: the cheap tickets will run out on the 31st of May, so if you wait until the 2nd to get your ticket, you'll be paying £20 more because of your heightened levels of fail
thats £20 that you could be spending on alcohol at the event....
And the lack of any sympathy if you claim "im skint"
